Welcome to my most challenging solo journey to date. I plan to fly from Canberra to Melbourne on 10 September 2011, put the bike together and ride the first 135k to Anglesea, just after the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. I've given myself 20 days to cover the 2700k from Tullamarine to Goolwa at the mouth of the Murray River, then track the full length of the Murray to Tom Groggin in the Snowy, then over the Snowy and back into Canberra.
Here is the itinerary:

This is the story of another great adventure! A bike journey is more than a great holiday. It is a pilgrimage, a time to explore God's wonderful creation, meet people, share stories and overcome challenges - 20 days, 2700k - I leave Melbourne 10 September 2011, ride the Great Ocean road into South Australia, watch the sunrise over Lake Alexandrina at Goolwa, then home to Canberra along the entire Murray via the beautiful Snowy Mountains. Enjoy the ride with me! Contact: Kelvin.alley54@gmail.com
